ABOUT ME

Sometimes, life comes full circle in the most unexpected of ways. 30 years ago, I had a lovely studio in Berlin where I would paint and dreamt of being an artist and creator. But with the birth of my first child, I had to get practical, and so opened an ice cream cafe with a like-minded friend. We had such fun, and it was a wonderful place for my children to grow up. Then burnout hit, and I had to take a step back. I started a new career that paid more and allowed me more time with my kids, founding a translation business with a wonderful colleague, until AI put paid to that. But art was always with me, like an under-used muscle that I didn't have time to flex. Now, at 55, I am so lucky to be able to dedicate my time to art. That means, less stuff, less money, but more time. I hope you enjoy pottering around my website, and perhaps you'll find something beautiful here – inspiration, a little peace, a painting or a handbuilt ceramic.
